Dr. Thatchapol Kanjanakul, the Governor of the National Housing Authority, announced at the National Housing Authority headquarters regarding the implementation of the Thai Popular Policy. In 2018, there are plans to drive long-term sustainable housing development strategies by integrating private sector partners to invest or collaborate on housing projects with the National Housing Authority. This includes developing land allocated by the National Housing Authority or rental areas to create residential spaces or various multipurpose areas that meet the needs of people across all regions of the country, with several operators expressing interest in investing.

Additionally, there is a goal to improve and repair completed houses in various projects to facilitate residents' needs, targeting around 100 communities, with over 60 communities already in progress. Furthermore, more than 13,000 housing units are being presented to the public with special promotions, starting from the Public Housing Fair in Pathum Thani last month, which received a very positive response from the public.

Moreover, the initiative has expanded and enhanced the idea of collaborative business between the public and private sectors as mandated by the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, inviting private entities to invest, seek consultation, and manage under the guidelines set by the National Housing Authority. This aims to develop National Housing Authority land into various housing projects, such as land in the Romklao project and the Din Daeng urban renewal project. This will help the government save budget expenditures on infrastructure investments and assist citizens in accessing quality housing that is modern and affordable. There are many more interesting housing projects available, which can be followed on the National Housing Authority website www.nha.co.th or inquiries can be made through the hotline at 1615.
